CROQUET.

RANGIORA V. TIMARU. ' A match was played on Thursday between a team from Rangiora and the local club. The result of the match was all in favour of the visitors., who quite outplayed the local club. However a very pleasant day was spent, the local club entertaining the visitors to lunch and afternoon tea. At the close of the match Mr Barton; on behalf of the Rangiora team, thanked the. local club for the very enjoyable day they had had, and for the hospitality displayed towards the visiting team.
