(From a Correspondent.) Shearing is general among the farmers and tho wool is of hue staple light in weight. Ow.ng to so .nucl. moist weather there is very little jolk. Shearers are very scarce, and .n.in> farmers have their regular hands on tving to get the wool ,u time for the first sale. The prices published of tic: wool -sales at Napier and Wellington, must be pleasing to all wool growers, and it is U> be hoped good prices will last right throughout tho series of AU stock are doing well, there being an abundance of feed, and sheep especially, are coming out of ihe wool in good order. Much discussion was heard over tic action of -tne "SY.iimnte County Council as regards cocksfoot on road sides. This matter is considered one for the.
