CRICKET.

The High School eleven journeyed to Temuka on Tuesday to meet the local club's junioii team. The wicket was in splendid order, and the school team played sound cricket, winning by an inning's and 58 runs. Temuka in their first innings scored 75, good form being" shown by B. Day 23, Achesou 15, Aspin'all 12 not out. Their second venture added only 20 rnns f 'half of which were scored by Acheson. O'Donoghue took five wickets for two runs. The school team compiled 153, .Valentino 60, and O'Don'oghuc 44, scoring well all round the wicket. Twoomey and (rillespie howled well for the losers. The'lady friends of .the Temnka club provided: a welcome cup of tea.
