THE GUILDHALL INCIDENT. AMELIA AND ALICE FINED. . IPtcss Association-By Telegraph-Copy right Received 10.35 p.m., Nov. 11th. LONDON, Nov. 11. Amelia Brown, of no occupation, and Alice Paul, a student, were fined £5 and costs, in default one month, at the Guildhall, for breaking a window. The women obtained admission as charwomen, and participated in preparing the room for the King's Birthday banquet. They concealed themselves and when found liad in their possession a bottle of milk and a stomach pump which it was intended to present to Mr Asquith in illustration of tho forcible feeding methods of the suffragettes in gaol. The alderman severely commented on their hysterical tactics and their inexcusably damaging a historic building.
