A friendly match between the Waimate and Timaru Girls' High School was played on the Athletic Grounds oil Saturday afternoon, and resulted in a win for the .Timaru girls by two goals j (scored by N. Cook and R. Foster), hud ' a penalty goal, to nil. The Waimato girls returned home by> the evening train, having thoroughly enjoyed their outing. Mr Keith.was referee.
