The Corinna is due to-day from Dunedin to land about 80 tons of general cargo. She'will load here for "Wellington. Nelson and New Plymouth. The Waitemata is expected at Lyttelton to-day from Newcastle, via Wellington, "and will come on in Timaru within the course of a few days. She has about 800 tons of coal and a quantity of timber to land here. The Tongariro which left Wellington on Friday has the following cargo from Timaru on' hoard—3Bl hales of wool, 84 bales of skins, 111 casks of tallow and pelts, 15,000- sacks of grain and 4500 carcases, of lamb and mutton.
