PERSONAL ITEMS.
The Government has decided to invite .Lord Kitchener to visit .New Zealand and give advice on military matters. Advices 'received state that Mr Donald Grant, of Winchester, has arrived safely in the Old Country, and is enjoying his trip thoroughly. Ho is at present visiting relatives in Wales. The Hon. Dr Findlay, Minister for Justice, leaves Wellington on Monday for Dunedin, where he lectures on 23rd July under the auspices of the Frobel Society "On the Man.in the Street." On 21st July Dr Findlay gives a political address at Dunedin. He goes on to Tnvercargill, where he is to receive a deputation in regard to the employment of prison labour on certain reclamation works.
