MILLERS' ASSOCIATION.
POSITION UNCHANGED. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, June 2. Seen to-day, the chairman of the Flourmiliers' Association (Mr iL_Wood) stated that no new developments had occurred in connection with the organisation. The matters now in hand would require some little time to adjust themselves, and until that had been accomplished, the position would remain unchanged. In reference to a statement by a local corn dealer, that the Association was shipping away bran and sharps at 5s less per ton than the price charged locally, Mr Wood explained that the extra amount was due to the fact that the trade locally demanded such by products in sacks going 20 to the ton ; outsidp trade was satisfied with sacks going 12 to the ton, and the difference in price was due to that alone.
