FIRES.
HOUSE DESTROYED. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Jfnie 2. A ten-roomed house in Upper Abel Smith, dose to the Terrace gaol, owned and occupied by Lewis H. B. Wilson, a sharebroker. was totally destroyed by fire between 4 and o o'clock this morning, together with the contents. The insurances on the residence and outhouses is £4oo in the Alliance office, and £2OO. in the Phoenix office, while the contents were insured for £330 in the Alliance office.
