OTAGO INSTITUTE. Per Press Associatiou. DUNEDIN, June 1. The annual meeting of the Otago Educational Institute opened to-day. It was decided to ask the Minister to add to the conference of inspectors to be held early in 1910 representatives of head masters, infant mistresses, sole teachers and assistants. A resolution was passed to the effect that in the case of transfers of teachers brought about by falling attendance or other adverse circumstances, the removal expenses be paid by the Department.' Mr Flamank was elected president for the ensuing year.
