AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP. Press Association-By Telegraph-Copyright LONDON, May 30. For the amateur golf championship, Mr Robert Maxwell beat Captain Hutchinson on the last hole. TEMTJKA V. TIMARU. A team from the Timaru Golf Club journeyed to Temuka yesterday and played a match against the local club. The weather was ideal for golf and a most enjoyable match resulted in a win for the visiting team.
