DIVORCE CASES.
THREE DECREES GRANTED. Per Press Association. CIIRISTCHURCH, May 29. In the Divorce Court, bcforo Mr J ustiee Denniston, Louisa Martin petitioned for dissolution of her marriage with James Crosby Martin, of Auckland, barrister, on the ground oadultery. There was no appearance of respondent. A decree nisi was granted. Arthur Gift's petitioned for dissolution of his marriage with Annie GifFs on the ground of desertion. There was no appearance of the respondent. Petitioner gave evidence that ho was married in August, 1903, that his wife left him in November, and lio had not se"n her sine". Respondent had refused to do washing or cooking, ami went away to Wellington. _ His Honour granted a decree, subject to further evidence as to service.
Mary Harding petitioned for dissolution of her marriage with Reginald James Henry Harding, upon tho ground of the latter's desertion. Respondent. did not appear. Evidence was given that the parties married in A lay. 1899. The husband left a. few months afterwards and petitioner procured a maintenance order. Respondent kept up his-' payments under the nrrler for. some years, and then petitioner lest sight '-of him altogether, and for the lastfive-years slio had been earning her own living. His Honour granteda v : decree.
