An Australian cargo of wheat has been sold at 44s "9d. The American visible supply is 79.100,000 bushels. The creditors of Wilier and Riley, the produce firm, which suspended paysonic time ago, have received a dividend, of 17s 6d in the £. The liquidator announced that certain creditors will receive the full '2os. Probably the assets will allow the payment of some shillings to preference shareholders. COLONIAL LOAN'. Received 9.55 p.m., May 2Sth. LONDON, May 28. Tho sum of £BOO,OOO of the New South Wales loan has been subscribed, and the underwriters state that there will be no difficulty in placing the balance. THE MEAT TRUST. NEW YORK, May 28. The six firms which comprise the Chicago Meat Trust have again raised prices'lM to 2d per lb. Lamb chops are selling at 17Ad per lb, and many small retailers are closing their shops. The poorest people- are unable to buy meat. Messrs Dalgetv and Co. report under date London, May 2fith :—" Since our last telegram prices of tallow in general are at par to 3d higher. The next public sales will be held on 9th June. London, May 27th—-The market tor frozen mutton and lamb is weak, hut prices are not quotably changed. The market for frozen beef is firm, and prices of hindquarters are higher by Jcl per ih; forrquarters are unchanged. 1 '
