" CARNATION DAY." NEW YORK, May 10
A demonstration, entitled "Carnation Day " took place in New York. It consisted of an enormous procession ot elderly. mothers and fathers, as a protest against the new ideas of progressive womanhood. Sermons were preached on motherhood in many churches.
