A NEW COUNCIL. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, April 30. A sub-committee consisting of Messrs J. B. Callan junr. and W. Willett wlio ivere appointed by the' conference at Punedin of Centres of the N.Z.A.A.A. on March 20th to receive nominations and elect a new Council, having received no reply from the old Christchurch Council to a letter calling upon them to resign by April 28tli, have issued a circular to centres declaring that the following have been nominated by the centres in with the : resolution passed at the conference on March 20th, are duly elected anc comprise the Council with head Quarters at Wellington: —-Auckland, C. E. Bridge, J. F. Tliomoson; Wellington, ■A. K.• Newman. W. F. liarkiit; Christchurch, J. W. Davie. E. Chaffy; Otagp, A. Marryatt, W. H. Pollock; Southland, H. -S. Robinson, A. Davies.
