SAILOR LOST OVERBOARD. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, April 15. On April 4th, a-'.terribly dirty night, the ship Cambnrdoon, labouring under short canvas was chased by mountain--ous seas. In. the early hours of Monday a. terrible accident occurred. The second mate had orders to square yards. After this wds> done three, sailors were coiling down tho forebraces on top of tho forward deckhouse,' when • a tremendous sea. broke on board, filling the decks to . tho rail and sweeping heavily over the deckhouse. It washed one seaman, a foreigner named Neilson. overboard, and. he was never seen again. lfc was impossible to render him any assistance..
