SHIPPING CASUALTIES.
SUNK IN COLLISION. Press Association-By' Telegraph-Copyright Received 11.,30 p.m., April.Btli. / LONDON, April 8. The steamer Hei'o, from Bristol, collided and sank the destroyer Blackwater, off Dungeness, during the night time. The crew were saved. [The Blackwater was built in 1903, was of 550 tons, and capable of steaming 25J knots an hour. She was attached to the Channel Fleet, and commanded by John M. D. E. Warren.] A TERRIBLE VOYAGE. Received 1.10 a.m., April 10th. MELBOURNE, April 9. The barque Blenheim has arrived, 14 days out from Devonport, Tasmania. She experienced terrible weather. All the sails were carried away, and thrice the ship narrowly escaped from a. lee shore. The crew were unable to take their clothes off for the whole time.
