Slie loaded 1600 bales of wool and about 10 casks; of tallow and sailed the same day for Warigamii, Picton. and Wellington and will probably make Auckland her final port.' " The s.s. Holmdale left Greymou'th late ,on Thursday night with a cargo of timber for Lytteltou, and the vessel afterwards comes to Timaru to load for Napier and Gisborne, and proceeds thence to Mercury Bay to load timber for. Wellington. It is reported that the destruction of the wreck of the Hawea at Greymputh, carried on by blasting the hull with dynamite, has been done most effectively, and that the explosives have reduced her to a mass of ruins of a comparatively innocuous nature. The s.s. Fifeshire which is at present at Dunedin discharging Home cargo, will load for West of ; England ports at the following places in the order named,-. Waitara, Wanganui, Wellington. Picton, Timaru, and Lytteltou, and sails from the latter port about March 20th ; for Avonmonth.
