Riccarton gained a strong- position against West Christchurch, whilst Sydenham appeared to have; a little the better of the deal with St. Albans. At Lancaster Park, Lin wood monopolised the wicket all the afternoon against East Christchurch, putting up the fine score of 314 for nine wickets. The scores wereßiccarton 259 (A. Anthony 86), v. DUNEDIN, March 6. The cricket matches were continued to-day in perfect weather. Dunedin (374)" beat Carisbrook A on the first innings. The latter made 264 (Blaimires •103 and Hopkins 63), and 57 for 2 wickets. Albion defeated Carisbrook B by 56 runs on the first innings. The former made 200 (McFarlane 110), and 230 for 7. wickets (McFarlane 126 not out), and Carisbrook made 144 in their first innings.
