LONDON, Feb. 25. , In the House of Commons, Mr Churchill informed Mr J. Collings that observations had been invited .from the principal Chambers of Commerce and .Trade Associations of the United Kingdom concerning the probable effect of the revised French tariff. Mr .Churchill added that it was t undesirable, at present to make a, statement regarding any i'nr'thei- action : which might be found expedient or practicable, but the 'matter' was' receiving the. most earnest attention of the Government.
