Woodford, Commissioner of the Solomon Islands, shot at Kolo River two natives, and at Atgatina Island " five others, con-, eerned in the recent murders in the group. The expedition destroyed a number of canoes and other property, and recovered a large ouantity of loot stolen at the time of the outrages^
