THE INVENTOR.
The inventor is the pioneer of industrial wealth, and it therefore follows that invention and manufactures go hand in hand. If it had not been for inventive, genius ,we should not now have the convenience of the telephone, bicycle, typewriter, sewing machine, electric light, and trams, and a hundred and one things .that- 20th century people could, not do without. Neither would there be a million spent each year in the industries that these inventions have called into being. Tt therefore behoves those with ingenious ideas to try and think out improvements - that are required in every day appliances. For information relating to patents and inventions needed, the firm of Henry Hughes is represented in Christchurch by A. R. Holdship, a consulting patent agent, who is thus specially equipped to complete the instructions of Canterbury inventors on the spot, and is always at hand to advise and act at first "hand for inventors. This is appreciated by patentees who can see the advantage of having their work done by the Patent Agent whom they instruct. Henry Hughes pamphlet, "Advice to Inventors, 150 th thousand, may he had on amplication at 183 Hereford street, Christchurch.
