CALEDONIAN SPORTS. Per Press Association. "WANGANUI, Jan. 22. The Wanganui Caledonian Society held their twenty-sixth annual meeting to-day in glorious weather, and witn a large attendance. The meeting wore a decidely Caledonian appearance, tnero being a large number of competitors in the dancing and piping events. _ Center the Scottish champion, practically scooped the pool in this .department. Campion won all the cycling events save the half mile. The running events were won as follows:—Sheiftold, J. A. Nicholls; 440 yards, T. Mclntyre; 220 yards, V. C. Taylor; one mile, J. O'Rielly; half mile, C. McLaehlan 120 yards hurdles, C Sheehan; 120 yds amateur, V. S. Williams; 440 yards amateur E. J. Williams; hammer throwing, Ford; caber, G. McCulloch.
