\. FURTHER SHOCKS. Press Association-By Telegraph-Copyriyb; i "ROME, Jan. 18. ,'. American ..bluejackets-recovered the bodies of.the United States Consular Cheney, and Mrs Cheney, at Messina. Further shocks at Messina brought down several buildings that were tottering. A Government Commission is deliberating on the best way o'f. clearing the ruins, and throwing them into the ,sea. It is' expected that the work will attract numbers of refugees back to the town.
Search is proceeding under the ruins of the military depot to recover enormous supplies of cereals and flour.
