Tl:e- enquiry into tne Hutt local option poll was continued to-day, wiicii the petitioners concluded their case, with tlie excel)ti.;n of two witnesses to be on .Monday. For tiie defen'ce, Mr Skerrett" contended that the No-License party required five more votes to alter the result. Regarding other allegations >ll the petition, counsel submitted that 110 evidence whatever had been adduced ro show that the poll had been effected.
