Per Press Association. WELLINGTON.- October 15. The annual meeting of the New Zealand Kennel Club was held in Wellington today. The. balance-sheet showed a credit balance of £32. lic<>rs wer* elected as follows—President, Mr Paul 'Hunfceiv Porangahau, Hawfce's Bay ; Executive Committee, Mes- - W. Ryan (Auckland), E. S. Menzies (Dunedin),* W.. F. O'Donnell (Manawatu), W. .Tonson (Wellington); Treasurer, Mr W. Joncon: Auditor, Mr C, J. Salter; Secretary,. Mr H. Dovey. It was resolved that in view of the confrision existing -as. to wliat constitutes a challenge class it bo..defined simply as the first- prize winner in every class, these to be judged again in the ring after the ordinary class competitions and a. challenge certificate to .be- issued by the Kennel Club for any challenge. It" was also decided to recommend that challenge classes of each breed be allotted each year. ——p———w
