SHOOTING AFFAIR.
PECULIAR REPORT FROM MOUNT SOMERS. Per Press Association. ASHBURTOX, Oct. 2. A peculiar shooting affair was reported to the police this morning. It appeaifi that William McClimont, a resident. ot Mount, Somete, on answering a knock ar his door last night was confronted by a tall man who ordered him to pin up his hands at the- same time- threatening him with a revolver. Mr MeClirnonc immediately attempted to shut the door, and the visitor tired, tte ball grazing Mr MeClimont'e ear. miscreant then decamped. Investigations are proceeding.
