FOOTBALL.
THE ANGLO-WELSH TEAM. ' \ 1 ' Pep Press Association. WELLINGTON, Sept. 25. Among the passengers from Sydney by the Warrimoo were Mr H. W. Kelly, who represented the New Zealand Rugby Union on the British footballers' tour in Australia, and Dr McEvedy, a member of thatr team, who intends to practise his profession in Now Zealand. Dr. McEvedy said that the standard of Rugby football in Australia was not so high as it was in New Zealand. The Referees' Association ruled that the moment the whistle sounded all play nrasfc stop, and the goal could not be counted. The following are the teams for the Trinity-Wesley football match, to be played on the Athletic grouuds to-day at 3 o'clock: —Trinity—J. Hogg, J. K. McCahon. D. Glanville, E. A. Hamilton, S.
