The fully-dressed dead body cf a mad, which later was identified as that- of John Taylor, of Hampstead, Ashburfonjj was found lying face downwards on the footpath in that suburb -at 7 o'clock tliis morning. Taylor, who attended the races yesterday. was a married num. 35 yeais old, with four or tire children. -After taking evidence regaiding the finding of the body the inquest was adjourned till Monday. There are no suspicious circumstances. DUNEDIN. Sept. 17. The body of William Johft Newman, believed to be between 70 and 80 years of age, was found in the harbour tliis after* noon.
