AVe quote Australian lWs salted, 116s. unsaltcd; New Zealand unchanged ; the Copenhagen official quotation is four kroners lower. The imports into the United Kingdom for the week ended 15th August, totalled 85,000 cwt, compared with 79,000 cwt for the same period las-., year. The tallow market is dull, but prices are not quotably lower. At auction 1356 casks were offered, and IS6 sold. Buyers are doing their best to depress prices."
