Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, August. 20. •James Miller, a fanner of Waikereiu, ill tho Pahiatiia district. was killed through a log rolling on liim. Deceased aud his brother Were cross-cutting the lou, when it broke suddenly. DUXEDIN, August 20. Henry Ford ham Taylor. 65 years old, residing at North-east Valley, died'suddenly early this morning. Deceased, who was a married man had been suffering from a cold for the last fortnight, but did not seek medical aid or take to his bed. GORE, August 20. .Ail old man named William l'olson. died suddenly at the residence of Mr James Cooper, Waikaia, last night. Deceased was an old identity of Central Olago, and had lived twenty years at Waikaia.
