The racehorse Mooltan ivas recently sold to go to India. lb is understood that the price was £2500, and 20 per cent, of any stakes ha may win prior to his departure. At the annual meeting oj the Austialian Jockey Club, the chairman' said that the Club's policy was gradually to increase the prize-money.
