'-' The ladies' medal round of 12 holes, for the July Button presented 'by Mr, Johnston, was played last Friday and Saturdav. The Button was won by Miss, Guild with a net score, of 58. The men played a medal round of 15 holes on Saturday afternoon, which resulted in a tie between ■< Mr Bradmore, playing from scratch, and Mr Pulleine, with 24 handicap, the score being 89. ■■ A meeting of the committee was. held on Saturday afternoon. . Mr Evans was elected vice-president, •in place of Mr. Johnston, and Mrs. Ashwell and Mr W. •Pearse members of the committee. On Saturday the Ashburtoii. Golf Club will visit Temuka.
