The " Standard" says that the city expects the new South Australian loan to be in the shape of 3j per cents. The "Times" states that this is. contrary to a cable message reoeiveu froni Australia, and understands that the negotiations with Lloyd's bank for the purchase of a £2,000,000 loan have not yet been concluded.
BRISBANE, July 28,
Tre aoting-Premier lias been advised that Mr Kidston's negotiations with v the Bank of England resulted in a reduction of the charges in'connection with the management of the v Queensland loan to the extent of £2500 pel- ailhutrii on Existing, and a. similar amount per million oh future flotations.
