On Saturday the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Company offered for sale, on behalf of the administrators of the estate of the late F. Fielding; a freehold farm at Claremont, containing 128 acres, with four-roomed dwelling house and other improvements. The bigbtet price offered ■was £l7 per acre, at which fissure the property was paused in, but judging by enquiries made, the auctioneers anticipated a speedy sale by private treaty. TATTERSALI/S YARDS. The C.F.C.A., Ltd., report on the horse market at Tatteisall's yards on, Saturday as follows:—The yarding comprised 54 draught, light harness, and hackney horses. There was a ,keen demand for young active draught mares and geldings fit for present work and all hoises of this description which came under the hammer were sold at satisfactory prices. General quotations are as follows: Draughts, voung with trials, £35, £57 to £4O; ditto light and aged £lO, £ll to £ls 10s; light harness sorts £ls to £l6 lCsj hackneys £4 to £7 lCs.
