Navarino is 'now expected hero on Wednesday. The little steamer Kotare arrived from Akaroa yesterday morning to ship a load of wheat for Invercargill. She will load and get away to-day. Messrs J. Jackson and Co.'s schooner Lizzie Taylor arrived from Haveiock early on Saturday morning, and was moored at the Moody wharf, where she commenced to discharge timber for her owners. The Taieri. having discharged Australian coal and timber, loaded some produce for Wellington and West Coast ports, and left for Dunedin about midnight of SaturdayThe s.s. Wanaka arived on Saturday afternoon, with about 70 tons of inward cargo chiefly sugar from Auckland. •- She had 900 tons of produce to load, -and will get awar for Napier to-day. The National Mortgage and Agency Co. are advised that the s.s. Otterburn is loading a cargo of Pelawmain coal at Newcastle on their account this week, and is due here about the middle of August The s.s. Kaituna from Greymouth arrived in the roadstead about 10 p.m. on Saturday and yesterday morning was brought in and "made fast to the Moody wharf. She has 200 tons of State mines coal for the railways and 81.000 feet of timber to land, and a balance of cargo for Lyttelton. The Kaituna left the Grey on Friday afternoon, after having to wait a couple of days for a fresh in the river t» go down. A number of boats were waiting outside for the same chance to get in.
