Prees Assocjation-By Telegraph-Copyright Received 9.48 p.m., July 3rd, TEHERAN, July 3. Ihe provinces are closing the anjumas or political clubs, and organising a demonstration in honour of the Shah. STATEMENT IN THE COMMONS. STAND BY BRITAIN. Received 11.15 p.m., July 3rd. LONDON, July 3. In the. House of Commons Sir E. Grey, Minister for Foreign Affairs, stated that tie Persian troops which surrounded the British Legation at Teheran had been withdrawn. The British Government re- . quired a written guarantee for the safety of the. lives and property of refugees before thiy quit the Legation, and in the case of 'those accused of crime as distinct from political • offences, assurances that they would'have a fair trial wherfeat a member of the Legation would be present. The statement was received; with cheers. The "'Daily Telegraph" says that Bri, tain and Rnssia aire in close and amicable accord on the Persian crisis.
