ST. MARY'S CHURCH.
(To the Editor of the " Timaru Herald.") Sir,—l shall deem it a favour if you will publish the following as a correction of an error •which has appeared in our Churchwardens' Report, -usaiing with the position chat Mr Panton holds in connection with the completion of St. Mary's Church. Mr Panton was appointed by the Building Committee as resident architect, to act on behalf of Messrs Collins and Harman, Christchurch. for the supervising of building operations, not as architect's inspector as the clause in the report states.—l am •etc., ROBERT WM.
