AUCKLAND, May 22. The Auckland branch of the Fanners' Union unanimously passed a' resolution strongly urging that the Arbitration Act as applying to farmers, be repealed. Smith, the recaptured convict, was committed to the .Supreme Court for sentence. In reply to the Magistrate, he stated he would take, time to consider what steps he should take with regard, to his allegations against Warder Richards. WELMNTGON, May 22.
