Thirty thousand London hop-pickers, and thirteen thousand growers, factors, and laboureis from Kent, -Sussex, Worcesteishire, Herefordshire, and Hampshire, marched ill a procession reaching two milts, bearing banners with strange devices, to Trafalgar Square, and adopted a resolution urging the Government to impose a- duty of 4Cs per ewfc on imported hops.
