Buxton, Balme and Jacomb's joint catalogue comprised 6887 bales, a fair selection, including 3785 bales from New Zealand. Ay compared with the closing rates of last series prices are on the. average 5 to 10 per cent, lower for good merino, 10 to 15 per cent, lower for inferior and .faulty, 10 per cent, lower for fin? crossbred, and 10 to 12£ per cent, lower for medium and coarse cn.-sbred wools. The market for rabbitskins is steady. We expect that if any change in prices takes place it will he in favour of sellers."
