I'cr Press Association. XEW PLYMOUTH, February 27. The Xew Zealand Athletic Union, conference opened here last night delegates being present from every centre. An application of the Xew Zealand Axemen's Association that tho Union recommend its entrance to the Sports Federation was refused pending amended rules giving affiliated societies fair representation.

. It was decidocl to remove the disqualifications inflicted in connection with the Scottish Society of Cliristchurch, application to be made personally. It was agreed that registration fees be allotted at Is to the Union and Is 6,1 to centre*. Competitors suspended to date in connection with the proprietory sports will I>:' eligible to compete after July 31st, 1908.

The Winton Quoits Club was granted tin- Xew Zealand championship for 19C8.
