Mr Robert Illman. as the subject- of the great moral experiment, and Mr George Bryant a*s tll experimenter, the supposed to be invisible "messenger," played-their parts well, and were excellently supported by a numerous company. -The. cast is»qmtii a- large one, and each of the dramatic peisonas- lias something telling to do> little or much. M C-coper as Aunt- Martha, arid Mif-S Erri-j as Minnie Templer,- filled important roles acceptably, and Mr Fitzgerald as the tvam]) unnamed, deserved special mention. A good deal depends on option.! arrangement*' in the oecond act, and thcilo were perfectly managed. "A Mtwage from Mars " contains a novel idea, in melodrama. and works out a good moral, without any blood and thunder, and will therefore always be a popular play when efficiently presented. It was no wonder than that the house was a good one. packed full downstairs, and pretty well filled in the drem circle.
