Per Press Association. HOKITTKA, .September 19. The Ross Goldiields, Ltd.. have accepted the tender of Maber and Welch, of Wellington, for the supply and erection of cable electrical plant and jiumps for the unwatering of tlio Ross Hat deep levels, for £2-1,310, the work to be completed within fifteen months. [The Ross flat was a famous goldiield in the early daj*s of the coast, but owing to the striking of much water, the workings liad to be abandoned. The late Mr M. Cossius, spent' almost- a fortune ere he admitted that the water had beaten him.J
