She fancied general cargo, and took in prodnce for northern ports, sailing for Lyttelton in the evening'. The owners* of coastal vessels sailing out of Auckland are arranging a general advance in freights, ■which they attribute to the increasing expense caused by the pressure of the shipping la-res.
