The success of the .English competitors is phenomenal. All: Fours, ah Australian bred horse, won the first prize of-£IOO. and the championship high jump, his best jump being 6 feet 9 inches. He. afterwards won the special prize given, by Lord Lonsdale for 7 feet and oyer, j-urnping 7 feet 4 inches. He was subsequently sold to a Belgian buyer for 500 guineas.
