THE WANGANUI MEETING. Per Press Association. ' WANGANUI, May 24. The Wanganui meeting was concluded ■to-day. The sum of £11,140 was put through the machine, as against £9387 last year. The total for the meeting was £23,053, as against £20,179 last year. Results : —Winter Oats Handicap—Chatterer 1, Delania 2; Volume fell near the six furlong post; dividends, £l3 7s and £1 12s. Grandstand Steeplechase—Waitarere 1, Slow Tom 2; dividend, £3 6s. Balgownie Hack Flat—Waitapu 1, Dane 2: dividends, £2 11? and £5 10s. Century Hurdles-—Malioe 1, Le Bean 2 ; dividends, £2 15s and £7 7s. Rata Hack Hurdles— Top Rosa 1, Kaipetipeti 2; Te Uira ivas second, but was disqualified as he could not draw the weight; dividends, £2l 6s and, £l. Final Steeplechase—Rangitoto 1, Roer 2; dividends, £1 14s and £6 lis. Farewell Hack Flat—Waicola 1, Chicant 2 ; dividends, £6 9s and £6 4s THE MEETING. O AMARU, May 24. Tile North Otago Jockey Club races were concluded to-day.
