At- the Magistrate's Court, to-day, Mary Hyland was lined 2Cs for practising palmistry. . r Robert Ferguson was committed for sentence' on a charge of uttering a forged school certificate which made \it appear that he had passed the fifth standard. _ Gfhe accused had made use of the certificate ■when applying for a . position on the railway. A charge of attempted murder against Hans WiLson was dismissed without prejudice, as lie had been, committed to the Sunnyside Mental Hospital.
