Call cheers were given for .ths ladies and Mr W. Maben repliedi' Cheers were also given for the president. ' , The' Timaru Association Football Club played a -match against the Ashburton Club on the Park ground yesterday. It resulted in a win for the Timaru Club by 4 goals to 2; goals. A fair number of spectators were present, and witnessed an interesting game.
