THAMES, February 26.

Three.destructive fires have occurred at the Thames since Saturday night. The flames having too great a* hold to save anything, Mr A. Martin's house and furniture were completely destroyed through a child overturning a kerosene'lamp. The insurance on the house and contents was £IOO in the Guardian Office. Mr T. Cooper's bakery and store and adjoining dwelling-house were burnt to the ground yesterday morning through smouldering wood igniting. Last, night Mr A. McLoujjhlin's house caught fire and was soon in flames. A water-race runs underneath the house, but it was useless to arrest tire fire. Mr Loughlin had a narrow escape from suffocation, but was rescued by a neighbour". The insurances are:—On'The furniture, £l5O in • the Liverpool. London and Globe Office; on house, £2CO in, the Sun Office. ;
